Strategic Technology Partnership: ELPSX & Limeone Solutions Drive the Digital Transformation of the Hellenic Army Share Fund
Limeone Solutions has launched another important partnership, this time with the Hellenic Army Share Fund (MTS). More specifically, the project involves the newly established Hellenic Army Special Welfare Account (ELPSX) and aims to modernize its IT infrastructure.
The IT project is already underway. It combines existing Limeone solutions with custom software development services to implement a modern Information System for benefits management. The system will manage benefits provided to direct and indirect beneficiaries associated with the Hellenic Army. It is being designed to fully address the specific requirements of the Hellenic Army Share Fund and its members.
Interoperability and the New Accounting Framework
A key feature of the platform is the integration of a new Benefits Management Subsystem with the existing Limeone Government ERP.
This interoperability enables comprehensive and efficient management of ELPSX benefits while supporting all required stages of public financial and fiscal management. These processes are implemented in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework.
The new Information System will also be fully aligned with the requirements of the new accounting standards established by Presidential Decree 54/2018.
Compliance with this framework is a key priority for public sector organizations and the Hellenic Army Share Fund. It supports transparency, standardization and compliant financial reporting.
Benefits Management for Members
The Benefits Management Subsystem currently under development will cover a broad range of services for MTS members and their families. This includes active-duty military personnel and eligible family members.
The subsystem will include:
- Maintaining a registry of active-duty personnel and family members, together with relevant information and records
- Receiving physical or electronic files and supporting electronic registration procedures
- Managing requests for healthcare, financial and other types of benefits
- Configurable definition of required supporting documents
- Distinct review and approval stages
- Formulas for calculating eligible benefit amounts
- Individual and bulk request management capabilities
- Complete action histories and timestamps
