Limeone Solutions has successfully completed the software development project for the Integrated Patient Transfer Management Information System, which was delivered to the National Centre for Emergency Care (EKAB).

EKAB’s Integrated Patient Transfer Management Information System is a modern web-based application designed to eliminate geographical limitations. It enables operational access for all authorized personnel, including flight physicians, rescuers, coordinators, coordinating physicians and administrative staff.

Efficient Patient Transfer Management

The platform was developed to improve the management of patient transfer cases involving air and/or maritime transport provided by the responsible authorities, including the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (GEA), Hellenic Army General Staff (GES) and Ministry of Mercantile Marine (YEN).

The system addresses EKAB’s operational needs across Greek islands, particularly where local healthcare infrastructure is insufficient to support such cases.

Full Operational Deployment

The Coordination Centre can now fully utilize the Patient Transfer Management Information System in its day-to-day operations.

The system provides significant support for the demanding work carried out by the personnel involved in coordinating and managing patient transfers.

The Information System is the result of successful collaboration between Limeone Solutions and the experienced personnel of EKAB’s Elefsina Coordination Centre.
